The Legionaries work in pairs, meeting weekly in small groups called praesidia and undertake voluntary service under the guidance of Mary Immaculate. They support local parish life through visits to needy families and to the sick. The organization, inspired by the True Devotion to Mary as taught by St. Louis Marie de Montfort, aims to bring Mary to the world to win souls for Jesus, emphasizing personal service, the influence of the Holy Spirit, and the glory of God. The Legion stresses loyalty to the Church’s Magisterium and to ecclesiastical authority, requiring ecclesiastical approval for its operations.
